This Privacy Policy explains how CoinHammer Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), registered in Australia (company registration number ACN 671 234 890), collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit our website or register for our auction services. We act as the data controller for the purposes described below.
1. Information we collect
We collect the information you provide directly through our registration form, including:

3. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law (such as the GDPR) requires a legal basis, we rely on:

- Performance of a contract / steps prior to entering a contract — to process your registration;
- Legitimate interests — to prevent fraud, secure our service and improve it;
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws.
4. Sharing and processors
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf, including messaging/notification providers (such as Telegram), hosting providers and analytics providers. These providers are bound by contract to protect your data.
5. International transfers
Some processors may be located outside Australia. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as standard contractual clauses).
6. Data retention
We keep your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law. Registration and portfolio data is typically retained for the duration of our relationship plus a reasonable period, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@coinhammer.com.au. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
